Grant recipients are expected to meet acceptable standards for effective management and accountability and to follow the criteria below, established by the Board of Directors:

• Recipients must comply with legislation prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, creed, age, gender or disability.

• Guidelines must be adhered to and application must be signed by recipient's appropriate representative.

• Organizations requesting grants must be an established 501(c)(3) charity which is not deemed "private" by section 509(a) of the IRS.
